The weather forecast for our last weekend adventure of January was not a good one so Lacock Abbey seemed like the perfect destination. A slower pace, an easier one, that day. No need for the adults to wear wellies although the waterproof trousers and wellies are still needed for our puddle loving daughters. We discover that one hat has mysteriously not made it into the car so Lyra wears mine for the day. A little girl in a too big hat, I couldn’t resist taking even more photos than usual. Both girls set off walking, exploring together, careful to stay…

Well the first month of 2018 went quickly didn’t it?! In our house we attempted to keep the post Christmas blues away by getting out of the house as much as possible. No matter how many times I visit the wonder and the connection is always there for me and this time I know it is…

Admittedly I did fail this project somewhat last year but the times that I did join in I loved sorting through all of the photos I take of my girls together and sharing them. So I’m back this year with determination and here is my girls this month. These two have such an intense relationship now that Athena is a little older. They are either the best of friends or tearing each other’s hair out (sometimes literally!) and it is exhausting. I think that Lyra was a…
