My Family in October | Me and Mine

Here we are, the end of October already. I was reading back the last Me and Mine that I did back in August and I mention how ready to throw myself back into my blog I felt. That clearly didn’t happen but I’m feeling more optimistic about the future of this blog now. I’ve had a rough few months with my health which I go into much more detail in in this video which meant that getting out and about was more difficult. I suffer with Psoriatic Arthritis and have been struggling to walk most days. All of my energy went into looking after my daughters and I had little energy and thought for anything else. But…

That’s enough of the moping. In good news Athena had finally started to sleep a little better at night (it only took 17 months) and so I’m getting the chance to sleep too which feels so good! We’ve been venturing out and about more again after taking it slow due to my arthritis and have spent lots of time in the woods which feels even better than sleep if I’m honest. The woods are definitely my happy place.

This month’s photos were taken during a trip to Heaven’s Gate on the Longleat Estate and were one of those spontaneous set ups since I needed to take a rest and naturally both girls wanted to join me on the fallen tree. A quick shout to Matt to set up the camera and join us and there we have it, family photos that I really like.

Here’s to November. Hopefully it brings better health and lots of outdoor adventures. I can not wait.

Love these woodland shots and those rather fabulous yellow wellies, I had some many years ago (back when Hunter was a decent barnd) and I still miss then! 🙂

Lovely photos and I am really glad that more sleep is happening, long may that continue. I can identify with your health struggles too as I struggle with my joints and muscles and sometimes it is tricky just to get through the day of parenting isn’t it? x #meandmine

Hooray for more sleep!! Loving your yellow wellies I need a pair. My littlest has them but didn’t know they do adult ones. Off to shop. But first let’s talk about your littlest cutest facial expressions EVER! These are beautiful. #meandmineproject
