August has flown by and I must admit that this little blog has been rather neglected. I don’t even have the excuse of it being the school holidays as both of my girls are too young for school anyway. We’ve been filling our days with adventures and making memories though and the unexpected break from blogging has been good for me. September always feels like a new beginning and I’m ready and energised to throw myself back into it.
August ended up being a month of two halves. The rain that seemed to last forever at the beginning of the month meant we were indoors a little more than we would have liked but it also meant wellies and puddle splashing which always goes down well in this family! And then halfway through the month we flew to Spain for our summer family holiday and found ourselves in gorgeous sunny weather. These photos are all from Spain and I have a lot more to come once I’ve finished editing them all and find time to sit down and write a post about our holiday. We spent our days enjoying the sunshine, swimming in the pool, and making sandcastles at the beach, and it was just what we all needed.
Getting a photo with two children who just want to run around and have fun on holiday is difficult! I had to include this bottom photo as I think it’s the most accurate depiction of life with two small children. I love it though as this is life right now. Crazy and loud and full of love.
