Portraits of my Children | 5/52

How are we already on the fifth week of 2017?! I struggled to choose photos of the girls this week because in all honesty I haven’t picked up my camera much. The weather has been terrible, wet and cold, so we’ve spent more time than I would have liked indoors. Athena’s photo was taken on one of those days. The three of us were snuggled up on my bed reading stories and the girls were getting cheekier and cheekier. I think Athena is going to give Lyra a run for her money that’s for sure!

Lyra’s photo was taken on a rainy trip to the city farm yesterday. I think Lyra suddenly looks very young again in it. I don’t know if it’s her big hat, or her expression, but it’s definitely a reminder that she’s still so little. A fact that’s been easy to forget since her sister came along. I also love how you can just about see the rain drops in the top of the picture.

Linking up with What the Redhead Said. You can catch up on my portraits of the girls from this year so far here and see last years here.

I love that huge hat! It definitely brightens up a miserable week! I haven't picked up my camera much recently either x

Oh look at Athena's rosy cheeks! We haven't been out much either this week, and I haven't picked up the big camera at all, so you are not alone! #LivingArrows
