The weeks are flying by so quickly at the moment that I feel like I’m posting these portraits every other day! The weather finally turned this week and we are well and truly into Autumn which means waterproof coats, wellies and knitwear which I’m really not complaining about.
Lyra’s photo this week was taken this weekend whilst at Dyrham Park where we were doing their Halloween trail. Lyra clutched the map the entire way, refusing to let Matt or I check it, and getting it thoroughly soggy in the drizzle but she did make a cute navigator. I’m also loving her colourful winter wear at the moment, I’m actually waiting for a bright yellow hat to come in the post to complete the look and I can’t wait to see her in it.
Athena’s photo was taken during a lazy day at home. This is the closest she came to getting dressed which I think is totally acceptable for a baby and Lyra didn’t get out of her pyjamas until lunchtime. Lyra and I were messing around and bouncing on the bed and this was Athena’s reaction!
What fabulous photos! We went to Dyrham Park once on the way back from Cornwall and had a lovely few hours – stunning scenery. I love the photo of Athena – what a fabulous expression to capture!

Lovely photos. They both have grown so much! My son loves maps and always likes to take the lead too. #livingarrows
