Portraits of my Children | 43/52

I think these may be favourite weekly portraits of the girls so far this year, I love them both. I am cheating slightly as I used Athena’s photo for my 366 project as well but, really, how could I resist?!

Athena’s photo was taken in front of the Royal Crescent in Bath whilst we were having a picnic. The picture makes it look like she’s really stable sitting when in reality she is far from up but she is so desperate to be upright. It’s crazy how much it changes their appearance when they’re sitting as well. Where has my little newborn gone?!

When I look at Lyra’s photo this week I can’t help but smile. Look at that big grin of hers. She was laughing her head off as her Daddy chased her around Mottisfont at the weekend.

Linking up with What the Redhead Said and her Living Arrows. You can catch up on previous weeks here.

Somehow they do look so much more grown up when they are dressed and sat upright! Beautiful children and beautiul photos. They grow so fast dont they? My littlest (and last) is almost 18 months and it doesnt seem like minuites ago that she was newborn.

Beautiful happy photos! Isn't it strange how just being able to sit up instantly makes them seem so grown up? Love that bib too – the print is so cute! #livingarrows

Lovely photos. You're right. As soon as they're sitting that's another stage ticked off and looking older.
    Love Lyra's pic – so happy #livingarrows

I love both Mottisfont and The Royal Crescent – and could have guessed that's where Athena's photo was taken. I agree, beautiful photos x
