Portraits of my Children | 34/52

Despite the sunshine that we’ve seen this week both of the photos I chose were both taken during our very rainy Saturday. Athena is such a little snuggle bug and her favourite place to fall asleep is on our shoulders at the moment. The only problem is that she then falls into such a deep sleep that she starts slouching and sliding either down our chests or off our shoulders. She looks so cute smooshed against us though. Those lips and cheeks. Ah, so cute!

Lyra’s photo was taken after I tried to entertain her by drawing cat whiskers on to her face with eyeliner, mainly to distract her whilst Matt was cleaning the kitchen. We spent so long running round the house afterwards miaowing to each other and I was lucky enough to capture a photo of her mid miaow. Her imagination is just amazing now and I love watching all of the little games and scenarios she devises for herself.

Linking up with What the Redhead Said and her Living Arrows. You can catch up on previous weeks here.
