Both of this weeks photos of the girls were taken yesterday on a little trip to Lydiard Park where we had a picnic and a walk in the almost sunshine. Neither of the girls were in the best of moods but we still managed to have some fun in between the crying!
Lyra was obsessed with this bench and must have gone back and forth between it and nearby trees at least twenty times. Every time that we thought she’d finished with it and was now following us along the path she’d suddenly turn and run back to it. She finally got distracted by someone flying a kite and gave up on the bench to get a closer look. I love how small she looks in this photo. She’s seemed so big recently next to Athena, it’s nice to be reminded how little she still is.
Athena’s photo was taken during the picnic portion of our day. She’s actually staring at the leaves in the tree in the picture and not just grumpily ignoring me! I’ve started putting her in proper clothes more and more now and it makes her look so big. I can’t believe that she’s already almost seven weeks old, time is flying by.
So lovely and I'm glad you managed to have a good time even though the girls were a bit moody. Some days are just like that. X #livingarrows
I love how children find joy in the simplest things! #LivingArrows
Oh look at your little summery baby! I know I said this last week but she looks so much bigger, I think it's the 'proper' clothes that make them instantly grow x
I feel like she's really losing that newborn look quickly. To be fair she is almost 13lbs already hence the proper clothes as she keeps outgrowing her sleepsuits! x
