A Day in Black and White

Most of the photos that I take each week are taken at the weekend when Matt is home and we’re off adventuring. During the week I really only take a couple of photos so I have one for my 366 project and then put the camera away but I realise that I’m missing out on so many memories that way. The days when we don’t have anything planned, where I’m outnumbered by children and they run me ragged. When I just lie down on the floor next to them, soaking up their smiles and chatter. When I watch my eldest immersed in her own little world playing with her toys as I breastfeed my youngest. Where they nap curled up against me and I feel my own eyes get heavy. These are the days filled with nothing but meaning everything. These are the days that I want to remember.

What beautiful photos. I love these so much and I bet these are the kind of ones you will look back and treasure the most as well as they are just of the ordinary moments. I love them in black and white too. x
