Portraits of my Children | 26/52

I cannot believe that I am already halfway through this project, this year is just flying by! Once again I struggled to find photos for both girls that I liked and so I really need to try harder to get my camera out. We even went to London for three days to watch my little brother get married and I hardly took any photos at all which is not like me! I guess it’s just taking a while to get used to looking after both girls whilst out and about and right now I’m so completely focused on the moment that I forget to take any pictures.

I did manage to take the top photo of Lyra whilst in London as we went to the Aquarium the morning of the wedding to try and wear her out a little. One of Lyra’s favourite things is a trip to the aquarium, she’s always so fascinated by the fish and would watch them all day if we let her. Unfortunately I didn’t get any photos of Athena whilst in London as she spent the vast majority of the trip either tucked up in the Moby wrap or attached to my boob so instead I’m sharing a photo I took once we were home. She is still waking so often in the night but she will happily snooze away with us downstairs during the day. She clearly finds the chaos and noise that her big sister creates soothing!

Linking up with What the Redhead Said and her Living Arrows. You can catch up on previous weeks here.

Lyra looks so fascinated by the aquarium in front of her, I love seeing that wonder on a child's face #livingarrows

Aww you're making me broody! My son only fit in his moses basket for 8 weeks and that was a stretch, I need a tiny baby again! #LivingArrows

I'm not a big baby fan, but I love it when baby sleep with their arms thrown up. Your picture reminds me of a newborn N too.

Kids just love aquariums don't they?! I love new babies, they sleep so much yet when you have your first you never really appreciate it – especially as they're often awake all night! x
