A Portrait of my Child | 16/52

It may have been her second birthday. And we may have just spent the past six hours at London Zoo but if there’s green space, dirt, and sticks, my daughter will be straight in there. And I wouldn’t change a thing. Can’t believe this little one is already two, time is just flying by and in around 5/6 weeks she’ll become a big sister as well. At least she’ll be able to teach the new arrival all about the best sticks and stones!

Linking up with Practising Simplicity and her 52 Project as well What the Redhead Said Living Arrows. You can catch up on previous weeks here.

I love how she's all pretty – dress, tights shoes – and yet she's got a big stick playing in the mud! There are no stereotypes with her and I love that she just wants to get stuck in. Long may it continue – she looks and sounds like a wonderful child x
