I think this may have been my favourite week yet. Matt managed to take a day off work this week and we all headed to Montacute House to explore. The weather, although nowhere near as rubbish as forecast, was still a bit ‘meh’ but that certainly didn’t stop us. Lyra was in her element running off in every direction and stopping to examine even the smallest of flower or stone.

The house itself has several of these little alcoves dotted across the front and Matt was quick to pick Lyra up and pop her in one. She loved it! She was really good and stayed standing still although Matt stayed nearby in case she decided to try and get down on her own. She thought she was so funny and was lapping up the attention that she was getting from us all. I’ll tell you something, my daughter really isn’t shy! Once Matt had got her down though we had to spend the next five minutes steering her away from all of the other alcoves as she was desperate to get in all of them.

Linking up with Practising Simplicity and her 52 Project as well Shutterflies Living Arrows. You can see my other weeks here.

The colours in these pictures are absolutely incredible. I love how you dress Lyra; she always looks so stylish and yet so fun.
