This week I’ve made much more of an effort to pick up my camera and not just film Lyra. I actually ended up taking so many pictures in the last few days that I struggled to choose one for this weeks picture. In the end I just had to choose this one as I love Lyra’s expression in it. She loves our front pathway and as soon as the door is open she is off! I’ve had to quickly get used to closing the garden gate every time I come in because I am not quick enough to get in front of her once I’ve opened the door.

On this occasion Matt had popped out to the car to put the car seat in and Lyra wanted to follow. Once she had discovered that she couldn’t leave the front garden she settled for bringing me stones from beside the path. And that’s what she’s doing in this picture. Well, until she saw me there with a camera anyway.

I managed to take a few more photos whilst she was exploring the door and waiting for her Daddy. I really like all of them, especially the final one where they’re reunited!

Linking up with Practising Simplicity and her 52 Project as well Shutterflies Living Arrows. You can see my other weeks here.
