Lazy days in the sunshine with the park to ourselves. Perfect. As much as Lyra loves people watching, a quiet park was perfect for some walking practice. It was only last week that I wrote about she will not let go of our hands but this week she was off! I was shocked by how quickly she got the hang of it and I am loving the new found confidence that it has given her but I have definitely been kept on my toes.

I had so much fun taking these photos of Lyra this week that I just have to include some more. It’s funny that in a week where Lyra has been go go go I’ve taken such calm photos.

Linking up with Practising Simplicity and her 52 Project as well Shutterflies Living Arrows. You can see my other weeks here.

Beautiful photos. Daisy chains are definitely a sign of summer relaxation. (I love the name you chose for Lyra too – beautiful name – would have been on my list too had we had a girl)

Thankyou! Lyra was actually one of the only girl names that my husband and I could agree on and it just suits our little one perfectly.

Oh so sweet! This reminds me of the endless daisy chains my nieces want me to make when we're out and about, something I missed out on doing with three boys 🙂 And Lyra's dress is adorable, where is that from?

Thanks. This was actually the first daisy chain I've made since I was a child and Lyra showed no interest in it, haha. Thanks, I love this outfit too, it's actually a little jumpsuit and it's from Debenhams

So beautiful; the daisy chain on Lyra's head rocks. The development of their confidence and indepedence is quite something to behold; what happy bubbles they form in our hearts. To more calm in the movement! #LivingArrows
