Once again I’m a little late in posting this. April was a busy month as Lyra turned one and we managed to have some much needed family time. A result of this though is that I actually have quite a few photos of Matt and I with Lyra. I feel like I’m finally starting to get into the habit of getting in front of the camera with Lyra and I’m much more pushy about getting some one to take them.
These two are some of my favourite photos of Lyra and I, partly because they echo a photo Matt took of me whilst I was pregnant.
I love the photo above as well though as I’m not sure how many more photos I’ll have of me nursing Lyra. The pictures below of Matt and Lyra really make me smile as they’re full of the fun and love that the two of them have for each other.
In April I took a lot of photos on my phone as well (as usual) so I thought I’d share a couple of them here. I’m really happy that I’m starting to get more photos of us with Lyra as I know these are the ones that we’ll treasure for years to come. Some days I really don’t want to be in front of the camera, I worry about the state of my hair or that I didn’t get a chance to make up again, but this project is giving me the push I need to take the picture anyway.
