Well the first month of 2018 went quickly didn’t it?! In our house we attempted to keep the post Christmas blues away by getting out of the house as much as possible. We started the year by watching the sunrise on New Year’s Day which is where the picture below was taken and have squeezed in a few more adventures since.
I’m determined for this year to be full of outdoor adventures, of appreciating all of the simple things in life, and not letting my arthritis hold me back at all. I may have to slow down a little, walks take longer than they used to, but that just means there’s more time to enjoy the view.
January’s photos were taken whilst we were at Avebury a couple of weeks ago. It was so, so cold but we wrapped up as much as possible and had so much fun exploring the stones. We’ve also made it to Dyrham Park and Lacock Abbey this month so it’s been rather National Trust heavy (which is fine by me). I think we need a couple of woodland trips in February though and I’m already getting excited for Spring!
