Portraits of my Children | 50/52

50/52

We’ve been away all week at Bluestone in Wales and I haven’t touched my blog which is crazy for me. In fact the last thing I posted was the girls’ portraits last Monday! I haven’t posted anything on social media either and honestly it was a lovely break from it all. We had an amazing time and now we’re home and feeling oh so festive!

I haven’t even begun to go through all of the photos that we took whilst away (although we are doing Vlogmas over on our YouTube channel so head over there if you want to see what we got up to), but we headed out for a winters walk yesterday and both pictures this week were taken then. Lyra’s is so typical of her. She’s either running off in front or miles behind us because she’s been distracted by a stick/stone/general shiny object. What you can’t really see in this photo is her random outfit choice that she insisted on wearing. I’m just glad that the weather is cold so she had to wear a coat over it!

I love Athena’s photo this week. When we’re out and about at the moment she’s always snuggled in the Ergo against our chests. Her eyes poking out under whichever ridiculous hat we’ve put her in that day are often all we see of her.

Linking up with What the Redhead Said and her Living Arrows. You can catch up on previous weeks here.

Can't beat a bit of babywearing! Brilliant photos. Hope you enjoyed Bluestone and good luck with Vlogmas! Not for me this year, what with impending baby due just before Christmas! #livingarrows

I love Lyra's photo. It looks like she's got the whole world around her. I hope you had a great time at Bluestone x

These are gorgeous as always – that first one is just lovely, so rare to see the sunshine where we are lately! Hope you had a wonderful break from everything! #livingarrows
